Robert Rose – Founder, Rose Optometry

Robert Rose is a proud South Coast local with a deep commitment to community health. Born in Nowra and educated throughout the Shoalhaven region, Robert has strong ties to the area and a genuine passion for supporting local families with quality eye care.

After completing a combined Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Science at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Robert began his career in marketing. His interest in health and desire to make a meaningful impact led him to retrain as an optometrist through Deakin University.

As the founder of Rose Optometry, Robert is proud to lead an independent practice dedicated to delivering optimal outcomes for patients. He has worked across the south coast including Nowra, Kiama, and Vincentia, providing personalised care with a focus on children’s vision, comprehensive eye health, contact lens fittings, and long-term visual wellbeing.

Robert believes that good vision is the foundation for learning, independence, and quality of life – and he is committed to helping people of all ages achieve their best possible sight.

Outside the clinic, Robert enjoys the laid-back South Coast lifestyle, spending his downtime hiking local trails, fishing, and enjoying the natural beauty of the region he calls home.
